Oh boy!! Guess who wants to run for Governor of California??????? This guy is such a weirdo. What's even worse is that he'll probably get a few million votes from those crazy Californicators.

Mig, SC, if I've learned anything....never say never anything is possible, especially politically, these days. . Keeping that in mind, I still think it would be a pretty safe bet he won't get anywhere. Mig, Arnold already served 2 terms and can't run (thankfully). Now some poor soul can step in and try to dig us out of a huge debt. TIS

is he as popular as tiger woods in detroit right now? Just about everyone wishes he would go away. Judging by the apparently leaked info here Federal RICO charges may be coming, which would make this state probation stuff chump change.

FBI searches 3 local auto suppliers Paul Egan and Christine Tierney / The Detroit News Detroit -- The FBI in Detroit executed search warrants at the offices of three Metro Detroit automotive suppliers Tuesday night in connection with an international anti-trust investigation, officials said today. The warrants were executed at the offices of Yazaki North America in Canton Township, Denso International in Southfield and Tokai Rika in Plymouth Township, said Special Agent Sandra Berchtold. Gina Talamona, a spokeswoman for the anti-trust division of the U.S. Justice Department, said her office was investigating "the possibility of an anti-competitive cartel" by automotive electronic components suppliers. "We are coordinating with the European Commission and other foreign competition authorities," Talamona said in a statement. A spokeswoman for Denso, a supplier part-owned by Toyota Motor Corp., said the FBI had come to the offices Tuesday in connection with an antitrust investigation. Bridgette LaRose Gollinger, senior public relations specialist at Denso, said the investigation was not related to Toyota's recall issues, the object of congressional hearings this week. Here in Southern California they say that Santa Monica (L.A. county), Newport Beach (Orange County) and in San Diego(can't remember what beach) that there's been no major activity, fortunately. They said that all three beaches noticed an expected "surge" and a change in the tide, but other than that it was uneventful. That's a good thing. One of the beaches (maybe all 3, I don't know) didn't even stop people from swimming/surfing, so that tells me there was no concern or alarm. TIS

Not my neck of the woods, but this is freekin' unbelievable, from Florida. This woman was shaving her "bikini" area WHILE driving. Evidently she was going to see a boyfriend. BUT, what's even weirder is, her ex-husband, who took the wheel from the passenger side, to help her out, was with her. Don't text while you drive. Don't shave while you drive. And definitely don't shave your privates while you drive. That's the lesson learned by a Florida woman who was charged in a crash that police say happened because she was giving herself a bikini trim while driving.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 37-year-old woman was rushing to meet her boyfriend in Key West and wanted to be ready for the visit.
Police say her ex-husband took the wheel from the passenger seat so the woman driver could finish shaving.
That's when her car slammed into the back of a pickup. Two people in the pickup suffered minor injuries. The woman and her ex in the car were uninjured.
"If I wasn't there, I wouldn't have believed it,² Trooper Gary Dunick told the local newspaper, The Citizen.
Police told the newspaper the woman had been convicted of drunk driving the day before and she had her licence suspended and her car was ordered impounded.
She was charged with driving with a revoked licence, reckless driving, leaving the scene of a wreck with injuries and driving with no insurance.

I love South Florida and treasure every minute that I'm blessed to spend down there. But there's no shortage of trailer trash . There's a lesson I've learned about Florida. You drive along the waterfront and there's upscale stores and beautiful homes and high-rises. Drive 2 miles inland, and you'd better have your car doors locked. It gets ugly pretty quickly. And this shaving lady doesn't surprise me. You see weird shit on the Florida news, stuff you never see anywhere else.

There's a lesson I've learned about Florida. You drive along the waterfront and there's upscale stores and beautiful homes and high-rises. Drive 2 miles inland, and you'd better have your car doors locked. It gets ugly pretty quickly. That's where the expression "the wrong side of the tracks" comes from. Drive west of Federal Highway (US1) and the railroad, and it gets progressively seedier. Go west of Military Trail and you're dealing with nothing but crackers and white supremacists. Literally. It is scary. You see weird shit on the Florida news, stuff you never see anywhere else. Yup. And guys like Dave Barry and Carl Hiaasen have made absolute fortunes covering it all. I love those guys. I real the Palm Beach Post and the Miami Herald online every day. It's funnier than Letterman .

This was the real Florida before they ruined it. Amen. I remember Florida pre-Disney, as well, DT. It's really a shame, but sometimes you get lucky. Last month we were down in Delray and we drove down to Islamorada for two days. We found a little piece of heaven down there. We rented a skiff, drank cold beers and ate the freshest fish I've ever had in my life. I even did some fishing myself (which I rarely do).
