Well, of course he wanted to sell me the top-of-the-line, and that also includes installation. I have to get a tankless system as there's no room for a tank anywhere any more. Seems Home Depot is selling them for around $800-1200 for the unit itself w/o installation (the previous owner paid $770 for this one, but totally hacked the installation).


I was only thinking Sears service because it's a Kenmore fridge. I'll get estimates from them and also a local appliance business and see.
