Stern? I was a big Stern fan in the 80s and 90s, and then his act just got old. Cowell, for all his brutality, carries it out with some level of class (pehaps that's just that Americans are always impressed by a British accent). Stern has none. Well, if this means anything, I just heard a review of the movie on a local L.A. station and they bashed it, saying something like, "how can two academy award winning actors make such a bad film?"  This reviewer says that the transformation scenes were the best part of the movie, but we already see that in the previews. Hmmmmm Sort of discouraging, but many times I don't agree with these people. Yet, it may become a "rental" after all.  TIS
