Don't know if you were just addressing Geoff or not, but in my area no. As far as that goes, you HAVE to have cable tv (at least basic or) to get any kind of reception. The cable company in my area (Time Warner) can and has raised prices every year. mad
Though I really can't complain about their service, it's not fair that they can keep raising costs knowing we have no other choice.

Time Warner always raising their prices is what finally drove me to drop their sorry asses, That and their steadfast refusal to add the NFL network. I now have directv and I'm happy with it, I looked at dishnetwork but I'm unable to get that where I live. I have too damn many trees that would interfere with the signal.

Plus I love NFL Sunday ticket on directv
