Maybe in some cases that's true, but there seems to be too many people who act this way for that to always be the reason. I remember when Teddy Kennedy died, the Internet boards were flooded with hateful comments, saying how he was going to hell, etc. Such venomous hatred without a clear cause. And I don't think what he did at Chappaquiddick was the real reason, it was just an excuse for feelings that would have existed anyway.
