It almost sounded like they want America to apoligze for making the terrorists mad!

Just out of interest, do any of you know why the terrorists did this? I hate what they did and I would take Osama out myself if I could, but there must be a reason somewhere, even if it is wrapped up in lies and propaganda. Any clues?
