Okay, but what about this pearl of wisdom: "There is no need to send money to Haiti; you already do so by paying U.S. taxes." ----From The Rush Limbaugh Show

Whether or not he blamed the President or not is really inconsequential. How can he---how can anyone---glibly tell such a large audience that they shouldn't concern themselves with sending relief money to disaster victims?

And this coming from one of the wealthiest people in the history of radio?

Limbaugh has become nothing short of a shock jock. He's Howard Stern without the wit or empathy. What's worse, he's also gone from right wing pundit to outright hatemonger.

Sometimes one of the things that gets ignored in all of this is the fact that there is an audience for those inane type of statements. As our Nation's population increases, so does the total number of people who will listen to Limbaugh type rantings. That's why there is also a large audience for Palin. If one is able to acquire a 10% audience for something, that equals 30 million and that generates the revenue that broadcasters, retailers, et al look for.

By the way, US Foreign Aid to Haiti since 1990 totals about $1.5 billion. There is none at this point
