Omygosh!! Anti-death penalty? Is there really such a thing?

I do not consider myself to be a religious fanatic but I have been reamed by friends and co-workers for 2 days now after expressing my views about the death penalty. I say it is wrong to go and bomb a whole country in retalitation. That is like if Timothy McVeigh had gone and bombed the Royal Palace...would we expect the Queen Mum's people to bomb us for the acts of one man just because we are American?? I am all for swift justice but NO MORE TAKING OF INNOCENT LIVES! I'm sorry, I'm doing it again. Lots of you will disagree with me but do me a favor and take it out on Gabbie
