Actually I HAVE heard the expression "a spot of tea" and assumed it's just a little bit of tea. confused I think it's probably an expression before Capo's time. Just like "daft". Remember that Capo? You laughed when I once used the expression "Don't be daft?" LOL I remember seeing it a few times in movies from the 60's or so. Again, I think an old time expression from an oldie BBer. smile
