I'm with SC here. I don't think you did or said anything wrong. I too think it's great to have handicapped people do jobs they are capable of doing BUT, from a customer's viewpoint, you still deserve to be waited on in a timely manner. I would hate to see this person lose his job, but I blame whoever put him in this position if he's not capable. Or they could have at least, have someone working with him. If he wasn't drunk, but sounded drunk, some mean SOB will probably jump all over him. I'd wanna spare him that treatment.
