I also happen to like GFIII although it is not in the same league as the first two. Talk about setting the bar high! Oscar nominations/wins while a pretty good guide are not always the best way to judge movies. Last year Gangs of New York was nominated for a bunch but won none. It is still a tremendous film. Voting can be a problem as well, I have no idea how Adrian Brodie beat Daniel Day-Lewis or how Roman Polanski won. Scarface didn't win and was not nominated for any Oscars but as many on this board know is probably one of the best movies of all time. Of course GFIII is not as good as GF or GFII but it is a solid film.
