I have no problem with hunting, as long as the hunter eats what they kill. The deer population is out of control as it is, so if someone wants to hunt and eat venison, good for them. I'm with SC, though. I think eight is too young for any child to be handling a gun, I don't care if they're male or female. It's a grave responsibility, and I think an eight year old is not mature enough to understand the potential consequences.
