I installed the 64-bit beta version on a homebuilt PC I was working on this summer. Really, really like it. Seems to take the best parts of XP and Vista, and turns it into a nice, quick-acting package. Only problem I have is software being incompatible with 64-bit, but that's not Windows fault necessary, but the nature of 64-bit OS's in general.
i initially had the x64 version running at home but cisco don't make a x64 vpn client (only anywhere connect) so it was half useless for me.
(so i sold my pc and bought another mac!
). however at work i'm using x86 windows 7 and it's great. on an almost 2 year old notebook with 2gb of ram it flies with all of the visual candy on. i'd recommend it to anyone who wants to upgrade. however i tend to use mostly pretty standard software, so conflicts may arise if you have legacy stuff.
