We have plenty of deer here, too, and now and then I see one on the side of the road dead, and less often alive and wondering if he/she is gonna total my car in a suicide mission or not. I hate to even think about it, and I always slow the hell down when I see one.

But SB, I remember your yard as being fenced in? Now that I have my own fenced-in yard, please don't tell me that the deer teleport themselves! I have enough wildlife with the squirrels and chipmunks and occasional (disgusting) possums...! lol
