GREAT scene!! I also love "You go in the cage, cage goes in the water, shark's in the water - OUR shark." Shaw's delivery was impeccable.
I read somewhere that Sterling Hayden, our Captain McCluskey, was supposed to play Quint, but had to flee the country because of tax woes. I'm sure he would have done a fine job, but now it's hard to imagine anyone but Shaw in that part.
