Why are lethal injection needles always sterilized before an execution?
Those infections can get pretty nasty.
What puzzles me is that capital punishment is reserved for murders that are premeditated or planned because we've determined that the premeditation makes the killing more heinous.
There are no killings, however, more premeditated than capital punishment.
