Pics need to be uploaded somewhere (to a web server) for the [IMG] tags to work. They obviously can't be read from your hard drive if that's what you were trying. You can upload them to photobucket or any other number of image-hosting sites. Or, attach/upload directly to the BB with the file/image manager. Or, use the What We Look Like photo album and upload to there

Halloween (trick-or-treat is on the 30th here cuz we have our big parade on the 31st; the "second largest" Halloween parade in the country): Much less "annual exercise" now. Before, I had to run up/down a full flight of stairs every time the doorbell rang, which could be often in an apartment complex. Now I'm no father than a half-flight away, and in a less-accessible, dead-end section with way fewer kids apparently. And with all the extra leftover candy (can't be caught short being new in the neighborhood!), I'll prolly gain weight this time!

But on the bright side, I've lost over 6 lb the past month doing all this work where otherwise I'd just be sitting at my desk all day/night.

BTW - I cannot believe it's been a whole YEAR since the last Halloween! Seems like yesterday! Why's time have to go by so much faster as you get older?!

Ours is today from 5-7. And it's raining now. So my Freddy Krueger will probably go trick/treating in the rain.

Yes, the pictures were uploaded to photobucket. But the [img] tags don't work in the photo gallery like they do in a regular thread. That's why I posted them here (following svsg's pictures) instead of the gallery because it didn't work.

I am so F'n pissed off right now. I called my Dad's room to check on him. He didn't answer the phone so I called the nurses station to talk to his nurse. (CNN) -- A Louisiana justice of the peace who drew criticism for refusing to marry an interracial couple has resigned, the secretary of state's office said Tuesday.

Keith Bardwell resigned in person at the Louisiana secretary of state's office, said spokesman Jacques Berry. The state Supreme Court will appoint an interim justice of the peace to fill Bardwell's position, Berry said, and a special election will be held next year to fill the position permanently.

It didn't snow today. Matter of fact it was sunny out but cold. I'm ready for Winter. I got my long johns and sweatshirts out of a box and washed them.
