One of my buddies from high school had to battle testicular cancer our senior year, and although he unfortunately lost something that no man should live without, he gained a new perspective and says cancer is the best thing that ever happened to him. Another Austin boy Lance Armstrong battled the same disease a few years later and came back to win a certain bike race a few times.
