It sounds like a huge house! Is "split" level same as tri-level? What the heck you gonna do with all that space? Didn't you say you had a lot of stuff though?
Are you in the same city or another area? Whatever the case, it's a great feeling owning your own home. Are you gonna post a picture at some point?
