Actually, he was on Jay Leno's new show (which I didn't particularly like, btw). Jay complimented him on showing up instead of hiding. Kanye talked about how sorry he was, and when Jay asked him what his dead mother would have said about what he did, Kanye looked as if he was about to cry.
To be honest, he just looked like a confused and upset little boy whose schoolyard prank got out of hand.
I might accept that screw-up, except considering West's history...from calling himself the best artist of his generation* to that whole fiasco "Bush hates black people" line at the telethon....forget it Kanye.
*=At the least, Jay-Z should shove a magazine down your throat.
