Toodoped: Thanks buddy! We should continue fighting against these lying paying sites and to protect everyone on this forum, especially the younger generation or posters.
Toodoped: these days lots of people that I know lost their families and everything they had because its legit and even youngsters can chip in
Toodoped: Same as the mob paying sites...ppl pay for "Disneyland" and wiki mob stuff, something which they can find it on their own with a simple google search
VanillaLimeCoke: Lousy school violence these days. Not even a 6th of the way through September and we've already had a psychotic violent school shooting.
Toodoped: Word. Few days ago, over here, they caught one teenager with a gun and more than 60 bullets, while going to school. I wonder what was his plan ?!
Toodoped: Damn....the retard slowly became a stalker and he's following me whenever I make a post so he can bump up his own $0,5 "projects" lol lol "IT" is finished and I love it lol
Toodoped: Cant believe this shit...im off to find some real pussy
Toodoped: aaaaand....the retarded stalker is back again
Toodoped: For those who enjoyed the "TD's Free Outfit Articles 2023/24" thread, well thanks to @TB for making it a sticky on the first page in the OC forum so everyone can enjoy it. Again, I want to personally say thanks to TB, JGeoff and the whole GBB forum. Salut
VanillaLimeCoke: I can’t take it anymore. Everything has gotta change. Or at least a lot.
Toodoped: Screw the world bro...the main thing today is to take care of you and yours.
VanillaLimeCoke: I’m hoping and praying that 2025 will be so much better. …. for real …. Too
Giacomo_Vacari: Damn, he is posting the same things over and over, nothing new. Watch out the flu is bad this year. January 20th Trump gets sworn in, and hopefully turn things around.
VanillaLimeCoke: Yeah, but they’re already planning things so he can’t turn them around
VanillaLimeCoke: Biden’s pardened over 8000 people, most of which were issued in the last 2-3 months
hoodlum: Yes, most likely 2 piss off that crybaby & compulsive liar now sadly in office.
Jason1969: Hey! After applying months ago, I finally got my button and was accepted as a member!
NYMafia: Just when I thought I was out…they pull me back in!
hoodlum: My 15 yr. old grandson who thinks his generation invented all got into a small debate.....I asked him 2 explain the old (Archie Bunkeresque) tale..."You don't buy beer,,,,You rent it..Needless 2 say , he was dumfounded ....stupid little fuck...
NYMafia: Hey! Paisan. Thatsa Somma Spicy Meeta Balla U Gotta Da, Kid!
Yeah, I've had the same effing box for at least 15 years, and I can't wait to hear where my mail is going to. Luckily most of it isn't very important, but I do receive some checks to that address.
I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! lol

Bitch #3: I set up an appointment with the Dermatologist to check out some spots on my back and belly and I have to wait until mid-October. Guess I deserved that since I've been meaning to actually set up the appointment since last Winter.

Bitch #2: After last night's storm it seems my cable box in my computer room is shot as it won't even turn on.
Do you have any indication that it's plugged in? Is the time showing on front? If so, unplug it, wait 5 seconds and then plug it in again. It'll take a few minutes to boot up.
If there is no indication that it's on, check the plugs (both ends of cable) and then check the outlet. If that doesn't work then the box may be fried.

On the bright side today, I needed a routine blood test and had to park in the 15 Minute Parking area as there were no other spots. Sometimes you go in there and it's a mad house with dozens of people waiting. I walked right in (didn't even have to sit down) and was out in 10 minutes. 5 minutes of that was because the girl was having a computer problem.
Then I stopped at the Dermatologist's office to set up said appointment, and was in and out in minutes as well -- 1 person was there at the window, and no one in the waiting room (yet I still have to wait 5 weeks to be seen )
Edit: Oh yeah - and when I went to the post office there was only ONE person in line! I thought to myself what a terrific day I'm having!!! [See my post above]

Yeah, I checked all that. It doesn't even turn on.
Not sure how that would go (coincidence?), but thankfully all my other electronics are okay!

Could have been a power surge during the storm and the box just fried.
About the only thing you can do is to unplug it for an hour or so. If it doesn't boot up after the hour (when you plug it back in) you'll have to exchange the box for a new one.

Thanks for all the responses! Even tough I'm not a very lot of time around I still feel posting on this forum is like coming home. Warm welcome.
@SC: the Dutch Television is broadcasting all kinds of stuff about that 400th anniversary. When I lay in bed or on the couch I follow that. I really love the fact that the top of the Empire State Building is colored orange!

Now that you have kids, you've probably realized that there was actually some sense behind all that advice your mother gave you.
Mama always said: Eat more! Kids are starving!
That's true, but probably not in your house. The clean-plate club isn't where it's at anymore. It's important to give kids the chance to stop eating based on appetite, instead of external cues like an empty bowl,
Mama always said: Don't sit so close to the TV -- you'll ruin your eyes
Actually, you won't, and neither will your kids. According to the American Optometric Association, children can't harm their eyes by sitting with their noses practically pressed against the flat-screen.
Mama always said: Don't read in the dark
Smart thinking. Just as watching TV in a black void can cause eyestrain, so it goes with reading in low light, says Cathy Doty, a pediatric optometrist in New Bern, North Carolina. And if kids keep it up for long periods (like your voracious reader, who sneaks in extra chapters with a flashlight under the covers), it can lead to intermittent blurred vision and headaches.
Mama always said: Don't frown, you'll get wrinkles
Yep, you might. Furrowing your brow millions of times over your life can leave a line or two eventually. So can laughing.
Mama always said: Sit up straight
Good one, Nana. Slumping over puts major pressure on the neck, shoulders, and back, not to mention that it keeps the lungs from completely filling. !
Mama always said: That music is too loud
It probably is. If you have a kid who goes nowhere without her iPod, there's a good chance she's rocking her way to some hearing loss later,
Mama always said: Eat your breakfast
Pass it down. There is no doubt that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Studies have proven that children who eat an a.m. meal perform better in school.
Mama always said: Put on a coat, you'll catch a cold
The only thing your kid is likely to get from being outside in the cold is... cold. There is some research that suggests that prolonged exposure to chilly temps may dampen the immune system because it puts a strain on the body. But that's not the same as making you sick. Share this on:

Did you guys see this video of the little girl at Philly's game, who's father caught the ball and handed it to the little girl, who proceeded to throw it back. How adorable. The father's reaction is wonderful too.

That's cute, TIS ...but what are you doing watching sports clips??
Ha ha totally by accident, I assure you. I saw the clip on the news today and actually went to the BB sports section in case it was already posted there. But then, I saw all the topics and didn't feel like checking so I said, "screw it" I'm random posting it.
Btw, where have you been Geoff? I haven't seen you around. Hope you are doing well

I see I spelled Phillies wrong. See, I can't even spell the teams' names.

They are interviewing the father now on MSN. He said a Phillie's rep gave him another ball.
