Harry "The Hump" Riccobene is, to me at least, a facsinating mobster. The guy was made at a really young age (some sources say in his early twenties, some as early as seventeen) and was around under Bruno (a Commission member)and he made it through all the shit with Scarfo.

The independant thing is interesting, getting away with the yearly tribute.
Bruno must have respected him.

The guy's brother testified at his trial and helped put him away.
