With the start of the new Premier League season over a week away, let's get together.

Here's a link: http://fantasy.premierleague.com

Make a team, and click "Leagues" at the left. Then join private league. The code is 544824-181866.

Everyone is welcome. Good luck.

Pick 15 players: 2 goalkeepers, 5 defenders, 5 midfielders, 3 forwards.

Each week, you choose a starting eleven from your squad. Each player gets points according to their weekly performance. You've got a £100 budget, and each week, you get a free transfer (all others beyond this cost you 4 points).

The full rules are here. It's really easy to follow once you get the hang of it. If you join up now, you can play around with your squad as much as you like before the first game.

The game begins August 15.

I'm fairly new to the Premier League, but it seems like they only have about a month and a half off before the next season starts. But since it's weekly league, you can do it JG smile.

I was curious how hard it was for Capo to type the word "soccer" instead of football.

Hopefully you read this before tomorrow: you can change your team as much as you want before the first game of the season kicks off.

I normally would, but I don't really want to have another fantasy hockey experience - not really knowing anything and without the ability to add much to the discussion.

I'll cheer from the sidelines on this one.

Shite opening weekend for me. Last minute changes annoy me most: I put Robihho in instead of Adebayor and took Upson out of my starting 11. Interesting midweek fixtures, though, with only 12 teams playing...
