I was raised in the Baptist church who's teachings are that jewish people are going to hell because they don't believe Jesus is the son of God. I certainly don't believe that, and have jewish friends whom I'm very close too.
Amen to that Beth. I was raised in the pre Vatican II Catholic Church which taught everyone who was not a Catholic would go to hell (except for people who were not baptized who went to limbo...which was since abolished.) It was considered a MORTAL SIN to attend a service in another church.
Orthodox Jews must delcare their children dead if they marry outide the church.
Come to think of it all religions are intolerant.
