The whole birth certificate flap is a right wing facade for racism. Obama is not a white guy, and he has an unusual name. Keep in mind the extreme right wingers believe only people e tow their line are "real" Americans. The rest of us are not.
They have shown the birth cerificate a zillion times. It is a dead issue.
Interestingly it took an act of Congress to make John McCain, born in Panama, eligible on the grounds that his parents were there serving the country in the military.
