You know, we do ourselves a disservice when we post incorrect information on this Board. Let's understand why the professor was arrested. It was for disorderly conduct that resulted from the professor's statements directed at the police. The purpose of a disorderly conduct statute is to allow law enforcement officials the latitude to determine that conduct is unlawful that is not otherwise defined by law as unlawful.

As I posted above, I do not support an arrest that is intended to assuage a cop's feelings. That cop should have ignored the professor's statement's and walked away and utilized those public resources more productively.
