I don't believe "snotty attitude" is against the law. If the man had sufficient ID to prove that he was the resident of the home, as was reported on WCBS 880 AM yesterday, then I see no way that the arrest was warranted. If he didn't, and that news story was incorrect, then the police may have had grounds, but it hasn't been reported that way.
