I hate people, and I don't understand them. We had two buyers bidding against one another on a listing. There was $50,000 separating them. We presented both offers to the owner, and they chose the higher bid, even though it was a start-up company.

The buyer has had the contract for five weeks, coming up with one excuse or another why he hadn't returned them yet. He had to get a new lawyer, he didn't like the lawyer he hired and needed another lawyer, one thing after the other. Finally, we told him that he had until close of business today to sign and return the contracts.

His latest attorney wanted some minor changes made, they were done and emailed back. He told us he was going to his attorney's office last night to sign them and would fax them over and then overnight originals. At 10:30 this morning, we received an email that he was backing out of the deal. We went back to the second guy, but of course he's found something else in the meantime.

What I don't understand is why he would bother tying up everyone for all this time if he never intended to go through with the deal???

Thats because people are idiots, simple and plain. They like to make things as inconvenient for everyone else as they possibly can.

It's 2:45 pm here and about 4 hrs ago I stupidly ingested liquid Acid. What the fuck is wrong with me? I have an album coming out, I have a daughter on the way and i go ahead and take Acid. This was the worst trip ever. It was fucking hell. Oblivion. Mental death. And admist all my mental anguish all i could keep on thinking about was..If i can type..i can survive...just keep typing typing....and here i am...the keyboard is moving like crazy..Im trip;ping..alone..in a dark room...typing....

Your concern about your album typed before your concern about your daughter. That's an interesting order in which you put those two concerns. And on top of that, apparently you've used such drugs before. Great. Just great. God knows all of the things you've endangered. I don't think you're stupid; I think you just don't give a damn. You'll probably do it again. I'm also suprised at the statement of a couple of Board members who caution you to be "careful" with that stuff. "Careful",huh? Not "stop it." Just "be careful."

I agree with all statements above. I didn't realize how bad I was going to react to the Drug. In the end it was a kind of a blessing though as it has re opened my eyes. I was scared shitless and for 12 hrs thought I was dying. Trust me, that's punishment enough. You couldn't even begin to fathom the terror. And hell No..I'm not doing it again and I'd have to be semi Retarded to do drugs once my daughter is actually born.

As for typing about my music before my unborn daughter, that's the literal order of what is eventuating. Album is out first, then my kid. It's not a reference to my list of priorities.

Whisper, I really beleive that even though, right now, you feel and say that you will not do it again, you should still seek some kind of outside intervention. Some kind of help. Perhaps a drug support program of some kind. One where you can talk to others who have gone through or are going through what you are going through.

Right now you may be scared shitless because the feeling and the memory is still fresh in what you went through. But as time passes and that feeling of fear begins to fade, you just might find yourself in a situation where you are once again tempted to take a drug or some drugs. That's why I totally believe that regardless of if you feel that you've licked it or not, you need a support group to go to, especially if and when you go through a moment of weakness and temptation. At least you'll have that support group in place to reach out to instead of reaching for that shit.

No matter how much you feel, right now, that you've got it licked and won't do it again, I still think that you should go and seek help of some kind. It can only strengthen and prepare you for any moment of weakness that you may face down the road.

Think about how much that baby, once born, will love you and depend on you to be it's strength, it's mentor and it's caretaker. Think about how much you already love that baby without even knowing it and how much more you'll love it once you hold it and look in it's eyes!

Don't you want to be the best that you can be for that baby?

Go get that support so that you know that will be able to give that baby the best life that you choose to. That you'll be there 100% each and everyday of that baby's life!

JUST DO IT!

When your see that baby come out of your woman's vagina hopefully you'll realize what a gift you've received and man up.

With seeking a support group, I don't think I need one and my main reason is, I don't have a drug addiction. This was just a one off thing I did cause I hadn't done it in ages and my brain told me i can no longer take it. I don't crave for drugs nor use them as a crutch.

Like i said in a previous post, it was a blessing. It showed me where I was at in my life and what's really important. I love my kid already and I WILL be a good father to her.

I will prove it when the time comes....

Whisper, While you may not have a drug addiction, you may have an addiction to destructive behavior. I remember reading posts like, "Can't believe I got drunk and ended up in bed with some woman...", "Can't believe I got into a fight last night..." that sort of thing. You have an inner rage that manifests itself in inappropriate ways.

I'm not trying to scold you or anything. You are a very talented guy, and I think that eventually your music will provide that outlet for you. In the meantime, though, remember that the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Your daughter will not come equipped with magic wand that will automatically turn you into a sober, law-abiding citizen. You need to do that BEFORE she's born. And getting help might be an integral part of that.
