Can't speak for anybody else, but
this critic does not forget that GF and parts of GFII are based on the novel. I doubt many others forget either.
If we "denigrate III too much"...it's because it
deserves to be denigrated, and especially by those of us who are so enamored of the other two. Who better to pick apart its numerous flaws, that far outweigh those occasional 'gems' like the Michael/Kay scene.
