We never learn what happened to Cicci. There was no
official Witness Protection Program at the time (ca. 1959). It's possible that, since he was a Senate hearing witness, he might have been able to cut a deal with the FBI, through the Senate (and Questad, who "belongs to Roth") to either escape prosecution and fend for himself by changing his name and tryng to hide; or to serve a jail sentence in some "protected" wing of a Federal prison, as did Valachi after his testimony. I doubt that Cicci was "big" enough to merit being kept in relatively comfortable circumstances for the rest of his life, as arranged for Pentangeli.
