Yeah, Jay Severin, by the way, was born James Severino. Does he not realize that we Italian-Americans were treated the same way in America for most of the last century?

Fucking hypocrite.

From Cindy Casares online column:

It turns out Jay Severin, whose full name is Jay Severin III, changed his name from Jimmy Severino after he began working as a consultant for the Republican party in the late 80’s. We suppose getting political advice from a greasy wop didn’t sit well with the GOP.

What it seems we have in Jay Severin III, or little Jimmy Severino, is a self-loathing Italian-American who wants so badly to be in with the American upper crust that he’ll forsake his name and invent an entire past to do it. Unfortunately, it’s not that easy to fit in with the blue bloods, so instead he’s found an eager group of sycophants in the uneducated masses who listen to his show.

That guy has to be fired right? I would understand a suspension if he said one of those things maybe, but he said so many racist comments about Mexicans that I can't imagine the radio station would want him back. Not after other radio hosts have been fired for much less.

Yes, Blib. Nappy headed hoes was quite the compliment compared to that vitriol.

I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol

He may be equaled or outdone by Michael Savage (his last name is an adjective). Being Jewish, you would think that he too would refrain from this kind of crap.

What do you guys think my video blog's theme song should be?

He - (Simón Bolívar) - was shaken by the overwhelming revelation that the headlong race between his misfortunes and his dreams was at that moment reaching the finishing line. The rest was darkness. "Damn it," He sighed. "How will I ever get out of this labyrinth!"

So what’s the labyrinth?

That’s the mystery isn’t it? Is the labyrinth living or dying? Which is he trying to escape - the world, or, the end of it?

Now you're talking. It should be up tempo, bursting with excitement and playful at the same time. Something like the Looney Tunes theme (Overture, curtain lights. This is it, the night of nights).

WASHINGTON - Jack Kemp, the ex-quarterback (Buffalo Bills), congressman, one-time vice-presidential nominee (1996) and self-described "bleeding-heart conservative" died Saturday.

His spokeswoman Bona Park and longtime friend and former campaign adviser Edwin J. Feulner confirmed that Kemp died after a lengthy illness.

Kemp had announced in January 2009 that he had been diagnosed with cancer. He said he was undergoing tests but gave no other detail.

Wrote this last night.....

Every burb differs from the next the city got respect
alleyways lit up from writers as they bomb their text
Weekend nights constant threats,
alcohol turns the placid to fighters fire up with drunken boxers breath
Diverse cultures but still full of racists full of hatred
people trying to stay the course walking on the crooked pavement
Hookers look for vacant spots to make the cash
Can't call a crooked cop if they got raped cause it's too late for that
On the news creating wack theories terrorist attack
Apparently we're next on the list but they're burying the facts
In fact the fact is drugs is second currency
Some cats attacked with bats you reckon nothing free
Lot's of greed too many emcees and not enough fans
Fuck Rudd and his Government aint got enough plans
I rock a sun tan hot summers but winters brutal
I love my city Inspiration when I spit it truthful

I'm from a city full of bright lights and dark shadows
The strong and witty also knife fights and hard fellows
During the day streets are quite nice and calm mellow
switch to night can be quite strife the heart's shallow

It's where the Mob war put us on the global map
every local cat raps their wak quotes and tracks
I take a note of that when I pen flows to pads
Cops pick on the people so they meet there quota plan
Evokes emotions that come from the city's rhythm
Sometimes pity victims locked up in a gritty prison
It's a shitty system moved some places bland
But I ride a train or tram till my brain expands
Take a stand cause we need revolutions
As I see executions I breathe the pollution
Concrete and the movement I move with it's Melbourne
music we're doing Improving this album
Others assuming an outcome wearing their masks
Scared of the fast pace of life tear it apart
But this place I was raised in is kept in my heart
Destined to last no doubt been impressed from the start

The hero and the coward both feel the same thing, but the hero uses his fear, projects it onto his opponent, while the coward runs. It's the same thing, fear, but it's what you do with it that matters. Cus D'Amato

Yeah, I've seen those, but it's usually something ridiculously slow like 40 MPH. I wanna see 55 (or ideally 65) as the minimum. whistle

Yeah there's some on an interstate around here, 45 minimum when really everyone is going 70-90 MPH.
