Chicago Overcoat has just finished post-production, getting ready for a 2009 release. The film follows aging hit man Lou Marazano (Frank Vincent), who is pursued by a relentless and obsessed detective (Danny Goldring) when one last job for retirement leads to a chance to settle an old score. Leading cast members include Kathrine Narducci (The Sopranos, A Bronx Tale), Armand Assante (American Gangster, Gotti), Mike Starr (Goodfellas, Dumb and Dumber), and Stacy Keach (American History X, Prison Break). Chicago-based actor Danny Goldring (The Dark Knight, The Babe) co-stars as Detective Ralph Maloney. The film is based on the Chicago Outfit, the major Chicago crime syndicate of the twentieth century, and is the first film about the Chicago mob in twenty years. Chicago Overcoat was written and produced by Chicago-based production company Beverly Ridge Pictures.
