First of all, I was being sarcastic with my post about a correlation.

Secondly, President Obama was handed an impossible job. WHY he wanted it, why anyone would want it, is beyond me. However, he did take it on. As has been pointed out, no other president has been handed a war AND an economic catastrophe. Personally, I believe that the two are related, but that's another debate.

There was an interesting point made above about the media. We are seeing sound bites. For all we know, the President is singing all sorts of praises, and the media takes the one thing that sounds negative!!
