"Am I singing loud?"
"Just a little."

lol That's adorable, Goombah!

I've got a family video to share with you guys, too...
My dad has gone on and on the past few weeks about his dance, and how he was going to make a YouTube video. His coworker dubbed it the "Josephenator," and he calls it an energy-saving dance because it requires very little foot movement.

A few days ago, he finally did it on camera, and I recorded it so he could share it with others. So now he's hit the YouTube stage, and he's so excited about his new video...haha I figured you guys would enjoy watching, so I wanted to share it. And yes, he's always this silly! smile

Gina, that's great!! Your dad sure looks like he's having fun. It's amazing what sunglasses, a little rhythm, and a few dance steps can do. Oh, and I love the "can opener." lol Very cute. Kudos to your dad.

You said it! After all, it worked for the Blues Brothers. lol

The can-opener is a bit more wasteful in terms of energy, but I think it's well worth it in terms of entertainment. haha

Gina, I'm chair-dancing just watching that. My favorite part is the "nod". That's great, Gi!! Your dad looks like he'd be a blast to hang out with!

Cheers to your dad, gina. I'm going to try to learn that. The end of the video says there are more to follow, so please post them.

We can have goombah's son sing and your dad dance.

I'm glad everyone liked the video of my little guy. He also does a hilarious "I Like To Move It" from the movie Madagascar. I will have to film and post that soon.

Good stuff, Gina. Your dad is having a good time!

He - (Simón Bolívar) - was shaken by the overwhelming revelation that the headlong race between his misfortunes and his dreams was at that moment reaching the finishing line. The rest was darkness. "Damn it," He sighed. "How will I ever get out of this labyrinth!"

So what’s the labyrinth?

That’s the mystery isn’t it? Is the labyrinth living or dying? Which is he trying to escape - the world, or, the end of it?

Goombah,

That is so precious to watch. Sorry I'm getting to this so late. The internet was down for a few days. Save it and you can show it to your grandchildren. This is your daddy when he was little.

It's always good to see some more 'home movies' of the bbers in here. And Gina, for some reason your dad's dance moves TOTALLY remind me of old-school Mike Love and the Beach Boys (surprise, surprise), only not nearly as cool as your dad.

Watch this: grin

I had the opportunity to perform "The Can Opener" today to Little Richard's "Tutti Frutti." When my friends asked what the hell I was doing, I just replied, "The Can Opener."

"The what?" they said.

I said it was one of the key moves of "The Josephenator."

They just looked on like I was nuts.

Well, ANY clips of CCR are total gems. CCR didn't really fit into the the whole Woodstock hippie, flower theme. They were more blue-collar country boys, but they played some of the best PURE Rock n Roll ever.

Anyway, the youtube thread wouldn't be complete without the Stones infamous performance at Altamont (A show that is often contrasted with the peace and harmony surrounding Woodstock) When the band decided to keep on playing in spite of the immense tradegy unfolding around them, ala The TITANTIC. rolleyes

This would have been December of '69, and Guitarist Brian Jones passed earlier that year in July...

Rolling Stones - Sympathy for The Devil ( Live 1969 Altamont)

Gina, if you play all of these videos at school you'll be the coolest kid in your dorm, I guarantee it! And I love Mick and Keith at 1:37-1:43, Keith just wouldn't stop playing. lol
