It was a classic game to end the Classic. Japan has now won both Classics with Daisuke Matsuzaka winning the MVP for the second time.

It's too bad more people weren't interested in this. There were some great games played during the WBC. There were some bad ones as well, including the USA getting mercy ruled. But I hope this catches on a little each time because I sure enjoyed it.

I think it will. There were more familiar faces playing this year than the last time. I enjoyed the enthusiasm of the fans from around the world.

I'll be sad to have to wait another 3-4 years as I've enjoyed them both. My hats off to Japan. To win it this year they beat Cuba twice, Korea 3 times and U.S.A. No small task at all!
