Thanks Yogi for the info. However, why would one have to wait a year for an operation? Is it that NHS qualifies everyone for treatment and that there are not enough medical personnel and facilities to accomodate everyone in a timely manner?

Of course i just used a year as a guide post. Of course some operations are done quicker than others depending on the severity of their problems. If you come in with a failing heart they will operate immediately,not send you away an tell you to come back in 6 months.
Well they are not doing that yet anyway
