Yup. Like a lot of things in the book, it doesn't add up. I know it was a different time and the Families didn't quite have the problems with informants and surveillance they do today but good grief, if I'm the boss of a Family there's no chance I'm discussing ANY criminal activities with low level soldiers.. that's why we would have buffas!
