Say what you will about Reagan, but he was decisive and he was not afraid to say what he felt was right, and to stand by it. After the wishy-washiness of the Carter administration, Reagan's firing of the air traffic controllers sent the world a message - do not mess with us.


Amen. I did not agree with many of his programs, but he had a clear vision and was absolutely a man of great principle.
