I'm watching an episode from 1964 of The Andy Griffith Show titled Andy's and Opie's Pal. It's about Opie making a new friend who comes over to spend the night at the Taylors. When the two boys are supposed to be in bed but making alot of noise, Andy breaks them up and tells Opie's friend to come into his room and sleep with him.
Can you imagine that today? The appearance of innocence if not the reality of it sure has changed.
