My name is Casey. I like it, I think it suits me well.

It was my grandfather's nickname because of the Grateful Dead song Casey Jones. My grandfather was dating a woman with the last name Jones and people called him Casey Jones. The Casey part stuck. Part of my family still calls me Casey Lynn even though he's deceased. Lynn was my great grandfather's first name. I am glad my name has some family meaning.

I don't think I'd ever pick a different first name if I could. Thankfully my mom went with that instead of her father and grandfather's names. Harley Richard.

How do you feel about the name your parents gave you?

Long as I remember The rain been coming down.
Clouds of Mystery pouring Confusion on the ground.
Good men through the ages, Trying to find the sun;
And I wonder, Still I wonder, Who'll stop the rain.
