BRILLIANT!
He - (Simón Bolívar) - was shaken by the overwhelming revelation that the headlong race between his misfortunes and his dreams was at that moment reaching the finishing line. The rest was darkness. "Damn it," He sighed. "How will I ever get out of this labyrinth!" So what’s the labyrinth? That’s the mystery isn’t it? Is the labyrinth living or dying? Which is he trying to escape - the world, or, the end of it?

Thanks Afs. I have never heard of the Black Adder but will try to check it out, and I admit Sense & Sensibility I know, but the movie didn't appeal to me, so I didn't see it. I never would have guessed that was in the picture you posted. He's obviously a very versatile actor. Thanks TIS

My pleasure TIS! The first Black Adder series wasn't that good IMO, save for the one in which Black Adder is appointed to be the Archbishop of Canterbury. But it gets better and better, especially in the last two seasons where Hugh Laurie joins the show. In any case, it is a very British show, with all the references to Shakespeare and their historical heritage, plus out of place references like speaches of Martin Luther King in the renaissance era!

Hmm. Where are these classifications? I haven't seen them. I am a new viewer of House and I don't recall anything explicit in the show. If I had young kids I would imagine it would be a helpful tool though. TIS

House (also known as House M.D.)is an American medical drama series produced by David Shore and Bryan Singer. The pilot episode premiered on Fox, a terrestrial television network, on November 16, 2004. The series revolves around Dr. Gregory House, a maverick medical genius who heads a team of diagnosticians at the fictional Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital in New Jersey. House and his team use differential diagnosis to arrive at initial diagnoses, which are often wrong, on account of the unusual cases that Dr. House accepts. House frequently clashes with his boss Cuddy, and his only friend, Dr. Wilson.

How did House hurt his leg? he suffered an infarction in his right leg, which went misdiagnosed for three days due to doctors' concerns that he was exhibiting drug-seeking behavior (House eventually diagnosed the infarction himself). An aneurysm in his thigh had clotted, leading to an infarction and causing his quadriceps muscle to become necrotic. House had the dead muscle bypassed in order to restore circulation to the remainder of his leg, risking organ failure and cardiac arrest. He was willing to endure excruciating post-operative pain to retain the use of his leg. After House was put into a chemically induced coma to sleep through the worst of the pain, Stacy, House's medical proxy, acted against his wishes and authorized a safer surgical middle-ground procedure between amputation and a bypass by removing just the dead muscle. This resulted in the partial loss of use in his leg, and left House with a lesser, but still serious, level of pain for the rest of his life. House could not forgive Stacy for making the decision, so because of this, Stacy left him.[23] House now suffers chronic pain in his leg, uses a cane to aid his walking, and takes Vicodin (hydrocodone) frequently to relieve his pain.

I am really getting to like this show. I don't even know when it's regular day and time slot are. I've seen it on USA which has had marathons on the weekends, and I usually catch some of those. Although, it does appear after a while Dr. House manages to come across all these off the wall diseases and/or finds the patience infection is from some bacteria found in the patient's house. He is is so rude he's hilarious. I can't imagine any doctor like this in reality. Last week in what was a repeat, a patient standing in the room with House, passes out from an illness or whatever, and drops on the floor. House's response, "Now that's why we have nurses....." Then shouts out "Clean-up on aisle 3." Sort of an Archie Bunker type in a way. You love to hate him. He does grow on you. Oh and another example of how terrible he can be. He is examining an young Asian girl for whatever reason. The teenage girl seems to not have too much on the ball. House turns to the mother and says, "she's not the brightest chop stick in the drawer is she." Now how long would a Doctor last in real life? TIS

Tonight's episode... oh snap! Hmm.. I haven't seen it yet but I heard a spoiler for this season that and it leads to Chase coming back to the team next season. If that's what happened I hope it's

Ok, I watch house on one of the cable stations and I think they are all repeats. I have no idea what season I'm in to be honest. I see it's on a regular station (forgot which one or when). Anyway, is there a major surprise coming up? TIS

I DVR House and watch it weekly. While there may be some nods to previous story lines here and there, you can probably pick up a new season without missing too much. (Mid-season might be hard, tho)
I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! lol Whaddaya want me to do? Whack a guy? Off a guy? Whack off a guy? --Peter Griffin My DVDs | Facebook | Godfather Filming Locations
