My wife likes to go with the theater full and sit right in the middle. I can't understand how anyone can enjoy a movie that way.
Right in the middle of what, the theatre? Surely halfway across the row is best position; centre of frame and all... and, for me, three (at most) rows back is best. Full immersion and all. AND AND, nobody else in the vicinity bar me.
