...may have fought his best fight ever--and at age 43! Unvelievable!! The guy is ageless. I've never seen a fighter hold on to that kind of skill at his age. Not ever. Now Hopkins can punch; he always could. But usually a fighter his age depends mostly on having a "puncher's chance" if he hopes to win. Hopkins has so much more than that. As a fight fan (and a guy over 40 ), I am humbled watching him fight.

Hopkins is a legend. He mad Pavlik look like a chump.

Yes. A poor fight indeed. Jones needs to give up and so does Calzaghe, whilst he is at the top of the tree. He was adamant this would be his last fight but now he says he has to think about it. In other words whilst he is earning mega bucks he won't walk away He will regret it when he loses his perfect record because he hung around to long! Oh yes definitely. If I was Calzaghe, I'd be leaving the game claiming a perfect record. He escaped some losses in his career. Don't push your luck. I like Calzaghe, I liked his personality and he surprised me quite a few times in quite a few bouts. Time to leave though. He's definitely not the greatest Boxer of the modern time.

One of my all time favorite fights. Tszyu V Hatton Tszyu was way past his prime and should have retired and Hatton was on the rise, But It was a great fight. Memorable even for me a 100% Die hard Tszyu fan. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9XX695yh9FU&feature=related

Yes, Whisper. It was a great fight. Tszyu was a true warrior. Hatton is very popular in Britain but i fear even he is on the slide a bit now. I like Hatton too. He's a tough Mother. On the slide how though, Yogi?

It's good you got up the resolve to get back in the ring, Whisper. And at 23, you'll probably recover your fitness if you work at it. Are you a smoker? Better stop now. Hey Turnbull. Yes, I'm a smoker. But I've cut down from a pack a day to about ten a day. I'll keep working on it. It feels good just to be doing something as active as boxing and cardio. Woke up this morning and dusted off the old skipping rope too. I've got a years membership, so I'm going to try and make it in 5 times a week.
