Well, cut them some slack. Nobody likes his hard earned money to be stolen (That's how they describe it and fear spreads fast and somehow works wonders in the US). I think it is a cultural thing and should be instilled from childhood so that small doses of communism (read socialism) work out as it does in Scandinavian countries. With Americans I honestly can never see it happen. It is a good thing though. Not all the world should be safe netted. Some should go out and dare.
