Dunno, but it's interesting to note a few states' rate change over the last year. The "battleground" states in the upcoming election are seeing a much larger difference (i.e. lower prices) in what they are paying now compared to one year ago. Here are a few examples:

  • Ohio - Cleveland is 45¢ cheaper; Cincinnati is 59¢ cheaper
  • Colorado - Denver 26¢ cheaper; Colorado Springs 29¢ cheaper
  • Florida - Jacksonville 36¢ less; Orlando is 24¢ cheaper
  • Indiana - Gary is 16¢ cheaper; Terre Haute is 36¢ cheaper
  • Missouri - Springfield is 50¢ lower; Independence is 72¢ less
  • Virginia - Both Norfolk and Portsmouth are 49¢ lower

Interestingly, some of the states that have been given up on (by the Republicans) have shown either no change or the prices have actually gone up in the past year. Some examples:

  • California - San Francisco is up 40¢; San Diego up 15¢
  • Illinois - Chicago is up 14¢
  • New York - my local prices are the same as last year at this date

Dunno what to make of this, but it's interesting.
