LN, I don't think it's really fair to compare a RB to a TE. If you made that trade then JL would probably lose points because whoever he put in the TE spot to replace Gates would score less points than the new RB would gain. Gates is more valuable at his position because there are so few reliable TE's.
Actually It would be
+10 in week 1 -7 in week 2 (+3 if you start Jones instead of THE BEAST)
Jones + Donald Lee - Gates - sub
This subs Jones for Deuce in week 1 and Moose in week 2.
so far he'd have +3 points.
