I just noticed while watching GFII that when Young Vito, Young Tessio and Young Clemenza are talking about giving money to Fanucci, they say that "somebody else collects for Maranzella."

Interestingly enough, one of the early bosses in real life (before the New York families became the families they were) was named Maranzano.
