"The Blue Album" was my favorite popular album in high school. I liked a few of their songs from "Pinkerton" but after that I got tired of Weezer.

They came through San Francisco recently doing a "hootenanny", where anyone who can demonstrate musical ability on literally any instrument got to play along with Weezer in their songs. They played some of the recordings on the radio and it actually sounded pretty cool. Very organized. I think they are on tour doing that all over the country so hopefully they take the best of the recordings and release a CD.
