TIS, when you're on meds for high cholesterol, like Zocor or Lipitor, it can affect your liver. Mr. Babe's cholesterol has been in the upper 200s since he was in his 20s (which means probably all his life). He's been on meds for years, and has his blood tested every 3 months to check his liver enzymes.

Geoff, I know that diet and exercise are supposed to reduce it, but after months of cardio (we bought a treadmill) and cutting almost all fat from his diet, it still only went down to 240. He ended up on meds, and his latest test, it was 180. Sometimes, it's just genetic, as I'm sure your dad will tell you.
