Same in New York, DeNiro. It was like 45 this morning, but warmed up pretty quick. Now it's kind of overcast.

Blue skies but cold and a bit windy!

It is only 53 and rainy right now. Time to dig out the warmer clothes. Damn!!!!

You can still get away without a jacket, but not for long.

It's been grey and rainy the last couple of days.

The local weather forcast is calling for rain/snow showers tonight through Wednesday.

I'm not ready for snow yet.

Weather here in the high desert, ~100 miles north of Phoenix, is near perfect. We get more than 320 days of sunshine, so a lot of movies get filmed here because of the varied architecture and the sunshine. Today's high 81, low 39.

How are the golf courses out your way, TB?

I've been wanting to try an Arizona golf vacation for a while now.

The most beautiful weather this morning, it had been raining last night and the mild autumn breeze greeted us on the way to work. Just fantastic.

It's beginning to feel a LOT like CHRISTMAS! In Austin, Texas. Cool and breezy this morning.

Really? Christmas? I think I did hear some areas got snow.

It's beautiful here, probably in the high 80's during the day (unseasonably warm) and cools down to the high 40's, l0w 50's at night. Anyone notice that they've not changed the time from Daylight savings yet? Usually it's changed the beginning of October. I notice it's still dark in the morning when I leave for work.

Haha, we don't get too much (if any) snow here, but Austin's hill country is a great backdrop for winter and autumn. And judging by today it already feels like it's going to be a blistery cold winter.

I don't know why, but I never picture Texas as being very cold. Then again, what do I know.

Not anymore, TIS. They changed Daylight Savings from October till the first week of November a couple of years ago. They say it's to save energy, but I think it's so the resort areas down south and out west get an extra hour of daylight for a couple of more weeks. More sunlight, more golf, more becach concessions, etc...

I know, I'm a conspiracy nutjob. But Bush was in office when the change was made.

Actually, I thought it was because they wanted the extra hour of daylight for the Trick or Treaters.

Think about it. It's still Bush's fault.

That could be. As far as I'm concerned they could keep Daylight Savings time year round, but then again, who's gonna listen to me?

P.S. I'm playing hookey today. They won't have TIS to kick around today. I call it a mental health day and boy oh boy, with the year I have had, I need it.

On topic, it should be nice enough for me to wash my car today.

I've never played golf, pb. But, as you know, people flock to AZ because the sunshine is conducive to continuous golfing. The courses in Phoenix and Scottsdale are incredibly beautiful. There are several up here that local people tell me are good.

Funny, TB. I'm on about a gazillion golf vacation mailing lists, and I just received one from the Prescott Resort about two weeks ago. It looks great. Is it close by?

We got a little dusting of snow overnight and we had a little rain/snow showers this morning. It rained on and off during the day.

Blue skies but bitterly cold.

Only 4 degrees Celsius.

It's snowing right now.
